I, Bongani Mamba – aka King Mamba – am a local South African artist/ writer/ songwriter/ vocalist/ entrepreneur in the tourism sector. A multidisciplinary and ambidextrous fine artist, graphic designer (2D transitioning to 3D drawings), painter, graffiti and street art. This qualified historian has garnered 25 accreditations for storytelling and writing.
On 4 November I will be Showcasing 7 art pieces, titled “walking Number 7”, at the Terrace Luxury apartments at the Sandton Gate. The “walking number 7” concept is based on a fictional spiritual character who embodies the human anatomy and becomes 7 – 7 being a spiritual number that represents Completeness.
This completeness in human Form paints images that I have gathered in this City of Gold called Johannesburg, 7 paints an internal complete sense of what I see internally and mixes it with the everyday life which then becomes a Harmony between interstellar reality, urban legends, fictional futuristic soul, deep Technology, village lifestyle and painted music in a visual story-Telling technique that is abstract and colourful.
