Siyafunda Village Foundation is a not- for-profit company that was founded in 2019 by two young visionary and conscientious ladies, Kgomotso Molobi and Paulina Madlazi, with the sole mandate of improving communities for the betterment of society as a whole. These two sat one warm afternoon and had an extremely relevant conversation about the state of the world. Although they realised that impacting and changing lives would not be easy, it certainly would be worth it.
Their aim is to improve the lives of the less fortunate and underprivileged by giving of themselves, their time, their resources (limited as they are), whole heartedly as inspired by the book of Deuteronomy 15:10. They also have a desire to see young people reach their full potential and realise that there is more to them than what was gift wrapped world where teenagers see the beauty and strength within themselves. A world where young adults understand that they don’t need to be perfect, all they need is to show up. A world where parents get the help and support they need, but at times lack.

Siyafunda Village Foundation NPC desires to see a generation of young people living a life filled with love, peace, joy, success and the freedom to be their authentic self. There is a world out there that doesn’t involve abusing substances, being misunderstood, and our job as Siyafunda Village Foundation NPC is to be that safe haven for the youth to freely and openly express all that they wish to.
The foundation has already concluded one collaboration with Gracious Operations of Divinity and has another planned for end of March. The collaborations are a sanitary and toiletry drive. At this point they are open to receiving anydonations andextend their gratitude towards everyone who has already given towards this cause.
The foundation is inspired by African wisdom: “It takes a village to raise a child!”
