[UNIDEP] Online Course Announcement : “Making the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) work”

Dear Alumni,

We have the pleasure to inform you that the African Institute for Economic Development and Planning (IDEP), the African Trade Policy Center (ATPC) of the Regional and Integration Division of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa; on request from some Member State are launching the second phase of  on-line course on “Making the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) work”.

The course aimed at building momentum for, and political ownership of, the AfCFTA by educating key stakeholders – decision-makers in Government, high-level officials, NGOs and representatives of private sector organizations – about the promise for development that the Agreement holds, and what it would take to benefit most from it.

Thus, the participants in this course are not seen as final beneficiaries but as ambassadors and agents of change who can share their newly acquired knowledge with peers and other stakeholders, and, together, work to make continental integration work for Africa.

This course will be delivered from August 17 to September 29, 2021 (6 weeks). The course is free and will be moderated asynchronously on a weekly basis and participants are required to participate in the weekly on-line discussions. In addition, each module has interactive lessons that provide the core content around the topic for that module. A certificate will be delivered to participants who will pass all the tests and the exam by the United Nations African Institute of Economic Development and Planning.

In this regard, the announcement is available

The deadline for submission of completed application form is August 10, 2021.

We would be grateful if you could help IDEP in disseminating the information to the relevant experts, ministerial departments and institutions in your sub-region.

It can even help educators find solutions to conflicts within their educational organizations.

Let us listen to *Mr John Gomez,* who currently serves as the President of the Institute for Science, Entrepreneurship and Investments, International Partner World Business Angels Investment Forum, and Vice President of RevExpo Consulting. Finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take a stand against the devil’s schemes. For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of the evil in the Spiritual Realm.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may able to stand on the ground.
