The COMESA Business Council (CBC) in collaboration with the European Union (EU) Africa RISE is happy to invite you to the virtual validation workshop to be held on 9June 2022 from 14h30 CAT/15h30 EAT/16h30 MUT to discuss the report on the development of Anti–illicit Trade framework for COMESA region. The study is being support by EU Africa RISE through a technical assistance.
The aim of the study is to assess the current environment in illicit trade; to develop a policy framework in COMESA on illicit trade; to develop appropriate institutional arrangement to support the policy framework and to develop implementation plan for the policy framework.
The study covers four sectors within COMESA Member States namely food and beverages, seeds, electronic and electrical goods and tobacco products.
The consultant conducted the study in COMESA region and they are ready to share the findings with you on the development of Anti-illicit trade framework for COMESA region.
