And recently, he was honoured by the South African government, where he won the Bathopele Inter-ministerial Award for Excellence in Education.

Through the organization he cofounded, Where To Start Maths and Science Academy, Dr. Sibiya has established educational centers in Northen KwaZulu Natal. The first centre in Mzingazi Reserve is a Matric Upgrading Centre, which helps learners who did not pass well or may have failed their matriculation. The center is a live-in center that houses up to 150 learners. Two centres are in Richards Bay; one is a boarding house for girls, and another is a boarding house for boys. Both of these centres can now accommodate up to 50 learners each. Unlike the upgrading centre, these are home to learners who are attending school. Learners benefit immensely because they come back from their schools to an environment that is set up for them to do homework, attend extra-classes with WTS Academy tutors, and have access to Dr. Sibiya.
Creating employment
South Africa has a well-documented problem of unemployment. Dr. Sibiya, on the other hand, has employed sixty-four people in various capacities. Part of his staff is composed of ten full-time qualified teachers, thirty part-time qualified tutors, three center managers, two drivers, four university graduates working as office staff, ten kitchen staff, and five cleaning staff.

Despite his exceptional achievements, Dr. Sibiya faces numerous challenges in his pursuit of educational excellence. Limited resources, budget constraints, and a lack of access to modern teaching tools and technology can hinder his efforts to provide the best learning experience for his students.
