Olivia Rachier is the Acting Managing Director of Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest), a State Corporation under the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development mandated to promote and facilitate both domestic and foreign direct investments in Kenya.

She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths and a Certified Public Secretary (Kenya). She has over 20 years of experience in public, international and corporate law, as well as corporate governance. Prior to being appointed as the Acting Managing Director: KenInvest, Olivier served as the General Manager: Legal and Corporate Affairs in the same institution. She also served as a Corporation Secretary with NACADA and successfully coordinated the activities of the Board of Directors as well as internal and external stakeholder engagement.

Olivia has an LLM. in International Business from the University of London with a focus on International Investment Law and Multinational Enterprises Law. Her strong legal background has enabled her to successfully draft agreements and negotiate Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements with various countries on behalf of the Kenya Government.
